There will be a meeting for all the parents of kids grades 4th-12th on Sunday, September 5th immediately following morning worship. The meeting will be to discuss plans for the Fall and Spring and to discuss events that will take place during that time. The meeting should last about 30 minutes. Please come to put in your two cents on where our youth ministry is going.
We are planning something special for all of the new 7th graders to welcome them into the youth group. If your child is going into 7th grade this year, please provide Andrew Monk with their name and favorite color. We want to show all of these new 7th graders how important they are to this group. Please get this information to Andrew no later than Sunday, August 29th.
We are planning a trip to Adventure Zone for all kids grades 4-6. We need to know how many are interested in going so we can plan accordingly. We will be going on September 4th from 1-4 PM. If your child is interested in going, please sign them up outside the youth room by no later than Wednesday, August 25th.
It is school time again and we will be starting our Monday Night Bible Study for the teens again. What we need is people willing to feed us and offer us their home for the evening on Monday nights. If you are willing to hold a Bible study and dinner at your house for the teens, please sign up on the list on the table in the back of the auditorium. You will need to provide your home from about 6:00-8:00 on a Monday night and also provide dinner for about 15 to 20. For more information, please contact Andrew at 915-588-8524.
