We are blessed to have two Ladies Bible studies. One meets at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday mornings and another meets on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 7:45 p.m.

TUESDAY MORNING LADIES BIBLE CLASS

The Tuesday morning class meets at 9:30 for snacks and fellowship followed by Bible study at 10:00 a.m. The current study (until Spring 2012) is 1 Kings, taught by Marjorie Foster.

The class is involved in several ministries:
- Weekly outreach to home-bound members
- Correspondence with military, college members, missionaries and home-bound
- Participation in providing food for funerals and recovering ill
- Participating in meals for members in need during Thanksgiving and Christmas
- Financial support for: Christy Sanchez (AIM - South Africa), Juarez, Mexico church, Greg Clodfelter (missionary in Kenya), and providing Pine Springs Youth Camp scholarships.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT LADIES BIBLE CLASS

Here we stand at the beginning of a brand new year! This seems to be a time when many of us determine to turn over a new leaf—break a bad habit or begin a good one. So at this time of new resolve we encourage all Eastwood women to embark on a new "habit" by joining us for a study of the book of 1st John taught by Fran Riley.

John wrote to encourage and strengthen believers in their walk with Jesus Christ. From our own experience we know that in this world it takes courage and strength to “walk in the light as He is in the light” (1 John 1:7) to live as Christ would have us do.
