Welcome to the
Christian Schools of El Paso, Inc. (CSEP) a work of the
Eastwood Church of Christ. We are glad that you have
made the choice of a Christian education for your child.
We hope that you will find the environment at CSEP exactly
what you are expecting. This handbook has been prepared for
the purpose of acquainting you with our school and to
outline the policies and procedures that are necessary to
operate in a manner conducive to furnishing a quality
education in a Christian environment.
The Board of
Directors, the faculty, and all those who have worked so
hard to make CSEP a reality, wish you and your children the
best for the coming school year. We pledge our best
effort on your children's behalf and hope and pray that you
as parents will do the same.

STATEMENT OF PHILOSOPHY
Believing that
Christianity promotes the highest ideals, develops the
strongest character, and holds the greatest promise of any
way of life, Christian Schools of El Paso, Inc. centers its
entire program around Christian principles.
Believing that
education is a basic right of a community's youth and a
responsibility of parents, and that the privilege of a
private education should be an option available to those
parents who desire and will sacrifice for it. Christian
Schools of El Paso, Inc., exists for the purpose of
assisting those parents in providing the best education
possible for their youth. Christian Schools of El Paso,
Inc., is dedicated to working with parents to maximize the
students' learning potentials and success through a close
and positive parent-school relationship.
Believing that
all students are created in the image of God and possess
certain physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, Christian
Schools of El Paso, Inc., is structured to educate youth to
know and to appreciate his origin, his role in life, his
relationship with his fellow man, and his eternal destiny.
Believing that,
even though all students hold in common certain traits and
needs, each student is individually unique, with special
needs, interests, and aptitudes. Therefore, through
small classes and personal interaction with teachers and
each other, the student gains deep insights into his
individuality.
Believing that
with the rapid changes in American society, our youth need a
steadying influence (an anchor) while adjusting to a newer
and more complex life, Christian Schools of El Paso, Inc.,
holds to the belief that the Bible has the answers to man's
needs and longings, and therefore, requires within the
curriculum daily study of the scriptures.
